On behalf of George and I, we just want to say a huge thank you for our wonderful day. It is a credit to you that everything runs so smooth and without fuss. I can say on behalf of all our friends what a special day it was and will be remembered for a long time to come, one comment was that they had not had such fun in a long, long time. We also enjoyed every minute which says a lot because usually the host and hostess are preoccupied with all the details, this we did not need to do. For me personally I thought about why it felt so good at the Quinta and I think that sometimes we forget we are living in Portugal and this felt like being invited in a Português home and being made very welcome. We also felt honoured that you sat at our table and hope you too enjoyed our ´not too rowdy´crowd. Nickie obviously could not remember too much about the trip home and is sorry if she got a bit out of hand but she lives alone and does not normally drink and really enjoyed it.
I also think it will generate some more business for you because lots of our friends who have lived here for quite some time had not taken the trip before but said what a wonderful idea it was when people visited them and I am sure they will now recommend you with confidence.
We will certainly be back with visiting friends and I am sure we will not get bored with it.
A heartfelt thank you once again and now try to let the reins to the new managers I am sure that they will put all their energy into it but I hope not alter it too much because it is truly special.

We had a lovely relaxing cruise to Quinta do Rio, a superb meal and a fab cruise return cruise, chatting to the charismatic Robert. The staff were brilliant, and the whole day was a pleasure.
